The week of April 21st through the 27th is Infertility Awareness.
I know many of my clients have and are still struggling with infertility. I also know many of my clients have experienced loss. I think it is so important to put infertility and loss in the spotlight. So many woman are affected. I want these empty bucket images give you a little hope and to know you are not alone.
Why a bucket? Well, another word for one is pail. In this crazy world of abbreviations and acronyms, P.A.I.L also stands for “Pregnancy after Infertility and Loss”. By putting this hardship front and center I want all women to know that you do not have to struggle in silence. I encourage you to share your stories. I encourage you to share on the post on my facebook page your journey. If you need to get your story out there but are scared, please send me an email or fill out the form below and I will share for you anonymously.
1 in 8 women struggle with infertility
1 in 4 women have suffered a loss
I am 1 in 8
I am 1 in 4
With infertility and loss being talked about you can remain to have hope. May these buckets I share with you be a beacon in a dark moment. You are not alone. You are enough. You are loved. In my local community we have a wonderful bereavement and postpartum doula that I am sure can offer or refer you to services to help you. Her name is Michelle with Doulaed. Please do not be silent. Share your story.
A special thank you to Cassie Clay Shulte Photography for challenging me as a fellow newborn photographer to put the spotlight on this special week.
